Partner. Mr. Lindenbaum is a partner of the firm and practices primarily in the firm’s litigation department.  He has broad intellectual property experience representing and counseling a wide range of domestic and international clients in patent, trademark, copyright, right of publicity, trade secret, and related intellectual property matters. His litigation experience includes obtaining and defending injunctions, internet disputes, trademark misuse, and ex parte seizures of counterfeit products. Mr. Lindenbaum has appeared and argued patent, trademark and copyright matters in federal district courts in New York, Michigan, Nevada, Missouri, Connecticut, New Jersey, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

Mr. Lindenbaum also has extensive experience before the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, having successfully litigated and/or resolved dozens of Opposition and Cancellation disputes.

Jeffrey’s prior experience includes work as a Summer Law Clerk for the Honorable Raymond J. Dearie of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and for the Honorable Sheldon Greenberg of the Supreme Court of New York.

Mr. Lindenbaum, born in Belle Harbor, NY, was awarded a Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law. While at the University at Buffalo, he served as the Assistant Managing Editor of the Buffalo Criminal Law Review. Prior to attending Law School Mr. Lindenbaum received a Bachelor of Arts from Binghamton University.

Mr. Lindenbaum is a member of the International Trademark Association and the Intellectual Property Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the State of New York as well as the Southern, Eastern, Western and Northern Districts of New York, the Eastern District of Michigan and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He has lectured at the Pace Law School Center for Continuing Legal Education on the topics of "Ex Parte Seizures, Temporary Restraining Orders and Preliminary Injunctions" and “Bridge the Gap - Intellectual Property Basics and Trends.”  He has also appeared as a Guest Lecturer of the Pace Law School International Law Society.

In 2009, Mr. Lindenbaum was the recipient of the Dr. Thomas Marx Award, in Manchester, England, for his paper titled: "Fifteen Minutes of Fame can Generate Fifteen Decades of Royalties: An International Comparative Analysis of Right of Publicity and Trademark Laws that Create a Monopoly of Economic Benefits Deriving from an Individual’s Name, Image and Likeness."
